Paul Eviston has had the privilege of working in the real estate industry for the past sixteen years. He began his career at National Real Estate Services, Block Brothers Realty, where he practiced for eleven years. There he achieved status as NRS' #1 Realtor for eight out of eleven years and was twice recognized as the #1 Realtor in Canada.
Six years ago he joined Re/Max Select Properties, the largest, most successful and fastest growing real estate company in the Greater Vancouver Regional District and throughout the world. Re/Max Select has outsold all other real estate companies in the lower mainland (volume per capita) for two consecutive years.
Since joining Re/Max Select Properties in 1996, Paul has been rated its number one Realtor by Re/Max Western Canada for 4 years successively. In 1998 he was inducted into the Re/Max Hall of Fame and has reached career sales in excess of $300,000,000 worth of real estate.
Recognizing his success in the industry, the Multiple Listing Service awarded Paul with its highest honour, the President's club membership award. The President's club is a distinction given to the top 1% of all Realtors in the lower mainland and Paul has received this award for ten consecutive years.
In 1996, Paul was appointed to the Real Estate Board's Ethics Committee. This same year, he founded the Vancouver Heritage Registry in order to help preserve and promote heritage homes in Vancouver. The Vancouver Heritage Registry consists of a comprehensive database of buyers and sellers who specialize in restoration of heritage homes and has become a resource that has helped to preserve our architectural heritage.
Paul attributes his success to the relationships he builds with his clients. His commitment extends beyond the first purchase, considering the many lifestyle changes that will affect your real estate needs over a lifetime. Client satisfaction is only evident when a client returns for his services a second time. This philosophy has earned him his reputation, which he will continue to uphold throughout his career.
Paul has lived in Vancouver all his life and continues to live here with his wife of sixteen years and their children. Paul’s family is very supportive and understanding of the demands of his business. Outside of work, his interests include a number of outdoor and sporting activities. Because of these interests, Paul is actively involved in coaching responsibilities for the local sports teams on which his children participate.
Paul feels a strong commitment to give back to the community, which has been an integral part of his success. The Children's Miracle Network has been a charity that he has supported over the years and he enjoys helping out at the annual telethon. With having three children, most of his fundraising/volunteer efforts have been made through local schools and his community church.

The best indications of market value come from recent sales of properties that compare in terms of location, lot size, age, and condition of home. Recent sales indicate what people have been prepared to pay for similar properties in a given market.
Property Currently Listed on the Market
Before determining your list price it is important to know your competition. Your realtor is aware of properties similarities to your home in age, property size, style, condition and location. The length of time on the market and price reductions are also indicators of the perceived market value of the properties.
